How to Avoid Finishupworld.com Ads

popups ads adware

Finishupworld dot com is yet another misleading site with a seemingly nonsensical domain name, put up online with the sole purpose of pushing ads into visitors' browsers.

Landing on the page, you will likely see a blank white screen with an image of a cute robot on it. The page will also contain large bold text telling the visitor to "click allow if you are not a robot". This type of misleading page is one of the hundreds and hundreds of similar "fake anti-bot check" misleading sites.

The goal is to trick the user into thinking they are doing a legitimate anti-bot check, while they're really accepting push notifications from the site. This functionality is used by misleading sites to spam the browser with ads that may be potentially harmful when sourced through rogue ad networks.

Similar ads may link to questionable content, malicious pages, scam and phishing sites and potentially unwanted program installers.

If you see an unfamiliar site that asks you to click "allow" anywhere before it shows you any content, odds are the page is misleading and you should close it immediately.
