Huntランサムウェアが被害者のシステムをロック

新しいファイル サンプルの調査中に、当社の調査チームは、Dharma ランサムウェア グループに属する Hunt という悪意のあるソフトウェアを特定しました。このソフトウェアは、ローカル ファイルとネットワーク共有ファイルの両方を暗号化するように作成されており、復号化と引き換えに金銭を強要することを目的としています。

テスト プラットフォームでの評価では、Hunt はファイルを暗号化し、ファイル名を変更しました。元のファイル名には、固有の識別子、サイバー犯罪者の電子メール アドレス、および「.hunt」拡張子が追加されました。たとえば、「1.jpg」という名前のファイルは、「1.jpg.id-9ECFA84E.[bughunt@keemail.me].hunt」に変換されました。

暗号化の手順に続いて、ランサムウェアはポップアップ ウィンドウと「info-hunt.txt」というラベルの付いたテキスト ファイルを介して身代金要求メッセージを表示します。テキスト ファイルは、被害者にファイルが暗号化されたことを通知し、復元のために犯人に連絡するようアドバイスするだけです。一方、ポップアップ ウィンドウにはランサムウェア感染に関する詳細情報が表示され、データの復元には身代金の支払いが必要であることが示唆されます。

これらの要求に応じる前に、被害者は、サイズが 5 MB を超えず、重要なコンテンツや貴重なコンテンツを含まない最大 3 つのファイルで復号化をテストすることが許可されます。この通知では、第三者に支援を求めることに伴うリスクについても詳しく説明されています。
